Merry Christmas

May you enjoy this Blessed Season knowing that you are thought of kindly, prayed for faithfully, and treasured in Heaven.

Holiday Blessings from our family to yours!

"If there had been no Christmas, there would been no resurrection. If there been no Christmas: there'd been no love, there'd been no peace, there'd been no hereafter for the believer; if there'd been no Christmas."
~Brother Branham

Tying Pillow Class

Faith taught the girls how to make NO SEW FLEECE  PILLOWS.
We made them to fit 12 inch pillow forms.

My Mom printed out a sheet from Creations that we started the class with.

First we cut out 4in. squares from the corner of our 20 in. fabric pieces.

Once we did the corners we started to cut out the 1in. strips that would be used for tying.

You could use a ruler or eye it.

Everyone hard at work.

And now for the tying.

And the finished product...

------------------------

Melissa taught the boys class on how to make coat hooks, key holders, and little boxes out of old license plates.

This is the page that Melissa printed out for the boys.
I thought it was pretty neat!

All done!

Jonah and Hannah were unfortunately sick the day of State Speech Night,
so they said their speeches to us!

Treasure Hunt

The Village of Intercourse has a Children's Christmas Treasure Hunt every year that we
really enjoy.

We begin at the Best Western Hotel by decorating bags and receiving a map to find the hidden treasures around town.

Best Western also had Cookies 🍪.....

and a really fun tractor/wagon ride!
Solve the riddle and you can get a treasure!

About 15 stores/restaurants participated...

The candy store had our treasure, chocolate lollipops, decorating a tree.

Making gingerbread men at Kitchen Kettle Village.

Kens Gardens does a neat train display.

We also like to visit Kings Homestead.  It is a really neat shop that also has a fish farm.
Mom gave each kid a quarter to feed the fish.  Everyone (except Benjamin) went running to the fish food machine. Benjamin was a little confused...he went up to the water and threw his quarter right in! David was trying to convince Mommy he could jump in and get it because he saw it at the bottom.
Oh, how the little kiddos keep us laughing... lol
