Finger Painting with Keepers

This past Thursday we had such a fun meeting at Aunt Rebekah's house!  Finger Painting!
Aunt Jennifer came and showed us different ideas how we could use our fingers/hands to create our very own pieces of art!  We could use our thumb prints to create penguins or owls, or our whole finger to create a scarecrow or snowman scene!

 Examples...

Hope chose to do a scene with flowers.

 Complete Concentration! =D

A Tribute To Sis. Mary Norman

For a few months Mom has wanted the Keepers girls to have an opportunity to hear Sis. Mary Norman's experiences with the Branham family. Traveling across the country at 89 years old is no big deal to her!  She came to visit her daughter from Washington D.C. and they came up to visit. On Sunday afternoon we had a luncheon at the Bomberger farm with Sis. Mary as the guest of honor.  All the Keepers girls and their families were invited to come for the afternoon and hear Sis. Mary tell about the years she and her husband were privileged to know the Branhams.  The Norman family chose the house Bro. Branham and his family would stay in during their time in Tucson.

Leaf Raking With Keepers

Last Thursday the Keepers club had the opportunity to bless Uncle David & Aunt Jeanette by raking their leaves!

Sis. Susan was in charge of this meeting and lately she has had it on her heart to help the elderly in our church.

61-0611 REVELATION CHAPTER FIVE
And he said, "That's what life is, makes life real, is when you... not what you can do or accomplish for yourself, but what you can do for others."  See, that's when you're really living. And if there happens to be someone among us who has never did that, tried to live for somebody else, give that a try, and just see how much more life holds for you when you will not live for what you can get yourself out of life but what you can give someone else in life. And you'll find that it's more blessed than riches or anything of... that can be thought of. Is what you can do for someone else to make life's burdens... Which, life in itself is a burden. And it will make it a little lighter for someone else. You just don't know the joy unless you've tried it once, to do something for someone else.

While we were there Joy lost ANOTHER tooth!  Now she is missing three off the top!

Jr. Creekside Camp

At the end of September Bro. David and Sis. Linda hosted "Jr. Creekside Camp" for the children at church who weren't old enough for Creekside Camp.  The children ages 0-7 eagerly looked forward to a day full of fun and games on the farm!  I don't know why I never got pictures posted but here they are a month later!  The children enjoyed a "silver dollar" object lesson by Uncle Steve and participated in a nature scavenger hunt.  They also had many great relay races!  Kayaking was probably one of Joyanna's favorite things to do!

64-0121 God's Word Calls For A Total Separation From Unbelief
All these believers, as we could go on for hours, all these were like a bunch of change out of your pocket, in God's hands. You pull out a bunch of change. There is pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, half of dollars, dollar, all in coins. Now, that's what the world is, in God's hand. There is some people that just can have a penny's worth of it, and God can only use them in a penny way. That's all they can buy. Don't reject them. If they can't believe the real Truth, don't turn them down, don't kick them out and say they're not in It, because God uses pennies sometime.
Lot was just a penny, Abraham was a silver dollar, so it taken a hundred Lots to make an Abraham. And so will it take... A hundred carnal believers will never stand in the presence of a genuine Christian that's separated from the carnal things of the world, living in Christ Jesus, where the Word can flow through him.

Making Cards

Grandmommy came up to our house on Thursday and brought a bunch of her stamping stuff.
She has a really neat machine called a Cuttle Bug that is super fun to use!
We had fun making some fall and Thanksgiving cards.  Thanks for bringing your fun stamps along, Grandmommy!  :)

Photography Contest Prize

This spring, I entered a photo contest in "Today and Tomorrow" a local magazine..  I didn't expect to win but much to my surprise I won first place!  The picture I entered was featured as the magazine's cover photo for the summer issue and I won a three night stay at Wild Asaph Cabin up in Wellsboro, PA.

Each entree could have up to three photos taken somewhere in Pennsylvania.
Out of the three pictures I sent in this is not the one I thought would win!
 I was pleasantly surprised!  :)

Wellsboro is a very cute little town.  Mommy thought these gas laterns were really neat.

We arrived at the cabin on Thursday afternoon and went for a little hike on the mountain.

Friday morning we went to the Leonard Harrison State Park.
It was foggy and rainy so in the afternoon we went back to the cabin and played games.

We saw quite a few deer!

Saturday morning we went to Colton Point State Park.

Hope, Daddy, Joshua, and I rode our bikes down the mountain for three miles!  It was a lot of fun!  Much better than going UP hill!  :)

We met up with the rest of our crew at the Darling Run Access Area where we got on the Pine Creek Rail Trail.

We rode about 8 miles down the trail and had a picnic.
Joshua and Lillia decided to try and catch a crayfish.

 Hopie caught one too!

On our way back we stopped at the Turkey Trails.

Uh oh!  Elainah fell in!  :-/

We got to see a bald eagle!!!  That was a highlight of our trip!
