David's Golden Belated Birthday Party

Friday evening we had a belated birthday party for David.  Mommy had wanted to have a party for him back in May but it never worked out.  All the Uncles, Aunts, and cousins came and we had a wonderful time together...a candy drop, delicious food, a pinata, and fireworks also made the evening fun!

We had a candy drop from an ultralight!
Daddy told us that if our neighbor Chris cut the alfalfa in the field next to our house he would get the candy drop.  Well, last Friday everyone started yelling with excitement,"Chris is cutting the hay!"  True to his word, Daddy called Willie and arranged for him to come drop candy at the party!

...and here comes the candy!

A few bags of candy busted when they hit the ground!

He flew really low!!
Our other neighbors were sitting down to eat supper when they saw the ultralight flying towards their house!  They came running out to see what the Sangers were doing now!  :)

He decided to land!

After the airshow, Willie visited with us for a while before taking off.

Bye!

Cousins 4ever!

We set up the screen tent to keep the bugs off the food...

After eating we played hide-and-go-seek....can you spot Daddy...and Hope trying to tag him?  :)

We also had a pinata

 Our giant whoopie pie cake!

We also had a "make-your-own-sundae" bar.

So we took a few of our Amish neighbors early this morning and went to pick cherries!
Mommy, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Lillia, Hope, and Joy picked 60 lbs.!

Rissler/King Wedding

This past Saturday the wedding of Samuel King and Faith Rissler was held at the Mt. Gretna Tabernacle. This beautiful outdoor tabernacle was built in 1899 and can seat over 700 people.

These gorgeous bridesmaid dresses were made in only two weeks by Faith's grandmother!

Sam and Faith's families... Faith is one of 13 children and Sam has one sister!

A bittersweet day for Bro. Philip and Sis. Carolyn...the newlyweds will be living in England.

hors d'oeuvres

Mommy, Joshua, and I were asked to help in the kitchen, preparing food and washing dishes.
Roseanna, Joanna, and Aunt Jeanine volunteered to help and they were awesome!
Thank you all so much!  We couldn't have done it without you!

Twin Dikes Campground

Monday night we went to Twin Dikes Campground on Lake Sam Rayburn.
When we pulled into our camping spot, the family next to us was from BFT Family Camp also!

They let us use their boat!

While we were sitting on the shore, this herring flew in and caught a huge fish!!

Hope and Lillia rolled some driftwood logs out into the lake and were swimming around on them...

Check out what was on the end of their log!  :-O
Thankfully, no one got stung!

I guess he didn't want to get knocked over by the wave!! lol ;)

My adorable lil brother!!!  :)

Enjoying their popsicles!

One boat pulling three skiers...I thought it was pretty neat!

Tuesday morning this black squirrel was outside!

 "Want some cereal?"  :)

We also had to say good-bye to this sweet family.

And that is the last post of our Vacation in East Texas!
