Angelica's Bridal Shower
This past weekend my mom and a few of my sisters attended Angelica's bridal shower, unfortunately I wasn't able to go because I had to work, but mom got some pictures she wanted me to share. Angelica is getting married to Tommy in a few months so Tommy's mom and sister's threw a beautiful bridal shower for her.
Renee and Angelica
:: favors ::
mints wrapped in burlap
Decorations over the bubble tea table...
:: cheese fondue ::
there was also a chocolate fondue
Lemon covers on the lemon slices so the seeds don't fall in your drink
Angelica is from Canada so in order for her to get to know everyone down here the shower was a little different than usual. When you arrived you gave your gift personally to Angelica so she could put a face with the name :) I thought it was a nice way for her to get to know everyone.

Warning to all PA drivers and pedestrians!!
Yours truly recently passed her Driver's test and is now a licensed driver!
Daddy took me to the DMV a few days before my test so I could practice parallel parking in our van. After many attempts and helpful tips from Dad, I started to think I could maybe do this!! :P On Tuesday I was really blessed to have a super nice instructor who put me right at ease and (most importantly!) passed me on my test!! It's a lot handier now that I can drive myself to work instead of mom or dad having to take me every day!

Will spring soon come?? I don't know if the other members of my family wish it were here, but I sure do! :) Everyone is enjoying the nightly trips down to the pond to skate and play hockey with their Amish friends. I can't ever remember a winter where we got to ice-skate so much! The cold weather is good for one thing I suppose!! :)
