Georgia Trip

I was thinking what should I post, then I remembered I haven't posted about my Georgia trip!
A friend told us about some Georgia youth meetings, so Joshua and I signed up. Later we found out that it was going to be a YF event.  Pretty much all of our church youth group signed up, so we took two 15 passenger van loads.  We left Thursday night around 10:30pm and drove through the night and arrived late Friday afternoon. There was a service at 7:00pm. Saturday morning they had Quiet time at a gym. http://branham.org/articles/682015_QuietTime
After Quiet time there was breakfast for everyone and a fun day of activities. They provided lunch for us as well.

On Saturday night they had a fancy banquet fit for a king!

These were our table favors.

Joshua and I were privileged to get our pictures with Bro. Joseph.

Garden Party

The ladies from our church were invited to a garden party.  After a delicious brunch Sis. Linda taught us about various plants and their likes/dislikes and how to group them in planters. Little hoes, rakes, and shovels were table favors wired to the napkin.  And then the fun began....everyone got to make their own planters!  Thank you Sis. Linda!

Keepers

Our Keepers Club had an end of the year awards picnic for the members and their families.
All the Keepers members memorized as many verses as they are old.
So if they are 13 then they memorize 13 verses.

I  memorized Ecclesiastes 12 and Joshua recited Psalm 147.

Psalm 84                                           Galatians 6

The Lord's Prayer                                   Psalm 19

  Ephesians 6                                               2 Corinthians 4

                  Psalm 47                             Psalm 121-I Thessalonians 5:16-21

The Ten Commandments in Deuteronomy
   Psalm 67

Memorization comes really easy to Hope.
So she challenged herself by memorizing the first 12 CHAPTERS of Psalms.

The Awesome Amalongs

On Monday morning we went to Tucson which is about 1 1/2 hours from Kaitlyn's house. We met the Amalongs at EeeGee'S for lunch. Bro. Tim took us to his airport for a tour!

A future aircraft mechanic?

The Simulator room is where he teaches them how to fly airplanes.

It was AWESOME!
