Remembering Bro. Ganger

Bro. Ganger....a wonderful Christian man who loved the Lord with all his heart
passed away on November 23rd 2011, five days before his 80th birthday.

Bro. and Sis. Ganger never had any children so they "adopted" our family.

We know he is in a much happier place.

Bro. Ganger was a Korean War Veteran

He was buried at the Fort Indiantown-Gap National
Cemetery with a 21 gun salute and the playing of the Taps.
(Hope asked Daddy, "What are they shooting at?" :)

Thanksgiving!

This Thanksgiving we were invited to Uncle Jon and Aunt Rebekah's house!

Cousins playing outside while the food was being prepared.

Joshua brought along his Land Shark.  Lincoln has one too,
they had lots of fun racing each other down the driveway!

 Aunt Carol making the gravy.

 Bro. Phillips carving the turkey

 The Grandmas doing dishes

Enjoying the yummy food!

Ping pong with cousins is always fun!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

The Lord is so good and there are many things that I could list that I am thankful for; my family, my friends, Still Waters Youth Camp, Young Foundations, the freedom of religion, my grandparents, a warm house, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and vacations!  What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving season?  Leave a comment letting me know!  I'd love to hear from you!

Chick-fil-a Turkeys

Chick-fil-a was offering a free 4 piece chicken nugget
meal for those 12 and under who drew a turkey and brought it into the
restaurant.  Of course, we participated!  Anything for a free meal!

Bible Adventure Party

Sunday afternoon the 4-12 year olds from church got together for a Bible Adventure Party hosted by Uncle Steve and Aunt Jennifer!  The theme was "I am a Believer".   There were twelve activity stations at the party, each one with an "I am a Believer" theme.

In the beginning they were each given an "I am a Believer" booklet.
At each station they were given a sticker for a page in their booklet.

I am a Believer; I am the happiest person in the world.

I am a Believer; I am sold out!

I am a Believer; I am an Oddball

I am a Believer; I am a fool for Christ

I am a Believer; I am rooted in Christ

Intently listening! :)
I am a Believer; I'm a child of God

Children of The King

At another station the theme was "I am a Believer; I am a hero".
Bro. Sam, a Koren War Vetern, came and showed the children his medals.
They also had to write down three heros from the Bible in their booklets.

Group photo!

Thank you so much for all your hard work!

Poetry with Keepers

Keepers was at Aunt Rebekah's house this Thursday and she taught us all about poems.  Each member recited a poem and then we had a Tea Party!   Aunt Rebekah also compiled a little booklet of poems that Bro. Branham has mentioned.

I chose to recite "A Psalm of Life" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

Isn't Elisabeth's hat beautiful?
It's a regular straw hat covered in material.  Some of the flowers are hair flowers they pinned on.  Clever, eh?

Everyone brought their own special tea cup.

Joanna, Emily, and I ready for tea!

Elainah and Bethany
Almost all of us!  (We missed you, Grace!)

Anna and Faith enjoying the yummy tea treats!

You did an awesome job, Aunt Rebekah!  We all had a wonderful time!
