A Day at the Beach

The weather has been very nice for October so we decided to go to the beach for an afternoon of fun in the waves.  We really like the beaches in Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware.
Kaitlyn was also visiting so it was even more fun with her and Benaiah along.

David, eager to get to the water!

Benjamin making the trek!

The beach babies, Benaiah and Serenah :)

David taking a break after getting hammered by a wave :)

Elainah, Joy, and David enjoying the water.
Even though it is October the water was surprisingly still warm.

Run, David, run!

Hope, Joy, and Lillia relaxing on their boogie boards.

Riding the waves...

Benjamin enjoyed digging in the sand with the shells he found.

Serenah, Kaitlyn, and Benaiah

The six sisters (and Benaiah :)

Mommy packed a picnic lunch for us all to enjoy on the beach together.

When you get tired of being in the water it's always fun to dig holes in the sand!

Benjamin had so much fun flying his "height"
(aka "kite")

David, burying Daddy in the sand.

Serenah was carrying this container around in her mouth so we jokingly called her our little puppy!

Benjamin told Mommy he had been to two beaches, one in Alaska and one in Delaware :)

Everything you haul in for the day has to be hauled out!
Notice the marks in the sand where I drug the cooler, haha!

We enjoy climbing the World War II towers located in the park.

The view is magnificent once you finish climbing!

Ben, Elainah, and David inspecting the guns in Fort Miles.

"Hmmm, I think it's time to go home."

We had an awesome day at the beach, Thanks Dad and Mom for taking us!!
