:: Happenings in April ::

This sweet little guy is growing so fast, he's almost nine months old already!

 He loves balloons!

I brought some balloons home from work one day because we had used them for advertising and they were all just going to be popped and thrown away.  I thought they would be a fun for the little boys so I brought them home!

"SuRpRiSe!!!"  Mom and a few of us girls recently attended a surprise baby shower for Isha.  She is originally from Canada but is now married to a guy from our church and they are expecting Lilyanna Grace to arrive in August!

The other day on our way home from Keepers, we saw this buggy in town with a grill strapped to the top!! It was rather amusing :D

Our neighbors have started planting their onions... sorry the picture isn't the best because Mom zoomed in pretty far through the window screen :D

Our cat had four kittens a few days ago...

They're just so tiny and helpless!!

David outside enjoying the nice weather...

Lillia got a new camera today so she's been enjoying snapping pictures left and right!  I don't think I'll ever be able to use the excuse, "I don't have enough pictures for a post," she's taken over 400 in the last three hours! lol

She's pretty proud of her $70 yard sale find!

Remember that ice storm a while back?  Yes, we're just now getting around to cleaning up the fallen trees in our woods.  Many hands make light work!

David and Benjamin taking lessons from Daddy :)

Yep, that's Hope way up at the top of the ladder trimming branches!

You couldn't pay me to get that high up in a tree!

Our german shepherd puppy, Sergeant, is growing like crazy!

And that just about sums up a few of the things that have been happening around our house!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Brunch with Friends

Last month we had the privilege of having the Derksen family from Canada over for brunch on a Thursday morning.  Brother Derksen preached a series of sermons about "Family" at our church that weekend and they were all such a blessing!  Another family from Florida was in the area during the same time so we invited them over too!  We know them from the BFT camp in Jasper, Texas so it was great to catch up with their family as well.

Mommy loves Sanibel Island and the Derksen's recently were there so we went with a nautical theme for the decorations...(Sanibel is known as the seashell capital of the world)

Of course there was lots of delicious food...

It so happened that Thursday was also Daddy and Bethany's birthday so we had a few desserts to enjoy.

Fiesta Preparations - Keepers

This past winter we had to cancel a few Keepers meetings because of snow and sickness. We had a "catch-up" meeting at the Wagner house.  Our badge ceremony this year is going to be Mexican themed so we prepared a Mexican meal and worked on the banquet decorations.

We started the meeting by learning to make tissue paper flowers.

Elainah chose six different colors of tissue paper so her flower was bright and cheery!! :)

A few of the finished flowers...they will be used for decoration at our banquet in May.

There are four little guys that usually come with their sisters to the meetings.
This was just a cute little moment of them playing with a train set :)

We also made little piƱatas out of toilet paper tubes...

Then we all moved to the kitchen where we prepared a Mexican meal.

Sis. Annette divided us all into groups to work on different parts of the meal.
Joanna, Hope, and Bethany were in charge of making a delicious Pineapple drink.

Zoe, Abigail N., and I made salsa and guacamole while Anna, Faith, and Elainah fried tortilla chips.

 Elisabeth and Joy

It was a really fun meeting and we all enjoyed learning to make the different Mexican dishes!
