Elainah's 10th Birthday!

Elainah has entered the double digits!
She loves making crafts, so she chose to have a birthday party at Jen's Pottery Den.
Her friends enjoyed painting figurines of their choice.

Can you guess how many Gumballs or Sour Watermelon are in the jar?

Another one of the games was this fun packing tape/bubble wrap ball of presents... If you spun a 1 or 10 you got to unwrap as fast as you could and keep all the prizes you unwrapped until the next person spun a 1 or 10!

Everyone LOVES root beer floats, right?

Happy Birthday Elainah!
WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Hiking in the Beautiful Mountains of Arizona

We stayed a few days after the wedding. (Yes, I know I'm JUST posting this!)
And usually when we're in Arizona we go hiking. (Doesn't everyone?)
We went up to the Cochise Strong Holds where the great Apache Chief, Cochise, hid with his warriors, while they continued to raid.

It was a beautiful day for a hike.

It's a very enjoyable hike with a non strenuous trail.

We hiked to the half moon tank that is a little over 2 miles. You can hike all the way across the Strong Holds which is approximately 8 miles long.

Chantel, Grace, Amelia, and Abigail (not pictured) stayed with Kaitlyn over the wedding. I'm sure they had a wonderful time, as they are all 20 and have been friends since they were children!

A Life Remembered

A dear friend, brother, husband, and Dad went home to be in the arms of Jesus where he will be waiting for us to join him. Brother Harry Shultz passed away quietly while listening to his greatest joy, The Message of the Hour.

In 2012 we were blessed to have the Schultz stay with us for a couple weeks.
They found a special place in our hearts right away!
Click HERE to read about it.

We love you Sister Shultz, and our prayers are with you.

Joel & Joanna's Big Day

Wait... what? We're back in Arizona again!!
That's because the day that Joel and Joanna have been waiting for has finally arrived.
Another beautiful wedding unfolded three weeks after Joanna's sister Joylin got married!
Since a picture is worth a thousand words (and I love looking at pictures), I have put lots in this post.

Amelia and Chantel were the lovely guest book attendants.

 Here comes the Bride!

The handsome ring bearer Uriah and the beautiful flower girl Jubilee.

The brides parents Brother Jared and Sister Joyce and the grooms Brother David and Sister Valerie.

Spencer and Joylin looking as happy as the Bride and Groom.

Joanna's nephew Jason and niece Kezia.

Uriah adores Serenah.

The reception was held at the same place as Joylin and Spencer's.
It was uniquely decorated very beautiful.

Joel's Mom made delicious truffles as the favor.

Very delicious cheesecakes with raspberry or blueberry syrup for dessert.

Don't they look soooo good!

Time for the speeches.

There was also a slide show.

Brother Paul and Sister Holly with the happy couple.
Brother Paul officiated the ceremony and also was the MC at the reception.

The sad time for saying "Good Byes".

Best wishes to the happy couple!

After the wedding Justin and Kaitlyn invited everyone back to their house, so the party wouldn't end.
Kaitlyn had prepared delicious taco soup.

There can't be boys without there being wrestling.

A beautiful sunset to end a beautiful day.
