We all sat on hay bales as we learned about the food pyramid and the five food groups.

Everyday, you should have 6 oz. of Grains, 2 1/2 c. of Vegetables,
2 c. of Fruits, 3 c. of Milk, and 5 1/2 oz. of Meat and Beans.

Also, everyday you should have at least 60 minutes of exercise.
We played many different games including, 3-legged races,
barnyard tag, dairy toss, sack races, jump-roping, and treasure hunting.

We had to hop to a hay bale, eat a piece of cheese, hop
back to our team, and give the sack to the next person.

Treasure Hunt!
Our prize for completing the treasure hunt was a Moo Tube. (frozen yogurt)
On each clue card was a little tidbit about the farm.
After the hunt we all read the information and Sis. Melissa quizzed us.

The Farmer had some silage and chopped alfalfa for us to smell and feel.
In the barn he let us stick our finger in the milker

We got to look at the milk in the tank
We enjoyed snacks made with milk products; cheese, milk, and chocolate milk.
Our Farm Teacher...
She did an awesome job!
