Boot Camp 2016

Still Waters Camp is for youth ages 13 and up.  So every year Uncle Steve and Aunt Jennifer put on an amazing two day camp for the younger children ages 12 and under at church.  This years theme was "In the Lord's Army".

This is the enlistment tent where the children pledged to be good soldiers.

The ice cream machine was a big hit.   I think they used
almost 400 cones!  (some were minis)

Uncle Jon was the drill sergeant and he really played the part well!
"YES SIR!!!"
Did you notice the personalized dog tags around everyones necks?
Thanks Brother Walter!

It is so fun for the children to have matching camp shirts!
Thanks Grandpa! aka Bro. David

There was a fantastic obstacle course through tube tunnels and up huge straw bales.
And tug of war....

The children shot paintball guns and BB's at huge targets that our enemy the devil, might have against us like: cell phones, a guitar (rock and roll music), cigarette, etc.
I wish we would have had pictures of that.

I forgot my camera, thanks to Moms phone we have these pictures.
Hopefully this gives you an idea of what an incredible camp it was!

  2. This just looks like the coolest experience. Steve and Jennifer are the BEST! They have such a talent for event planning. Bet the older kids wish they could have come to Creekside. What a memory for all who attended. Grandmommy
