Keepers Brunch & Badge Ceremony

Our eighth Keepers at Home year has come to a close.
Each year we have a badge ceremony and invite everyone's families, grandparents, uncles, and aunts to celebrate with us.
This year we had a brunch at the Fontana Hall.
Each Keepers family brought a tasty breakfast food for everyone to enjoy.
Our menu consisted of;
Chicken Frittata
Deer Sausage
Turkey Sasuage
Hash Browns
Pastries
Chocolate, Blueberry, and Glorious Morning Muffins
Poppyseed Bread
Yogurt Fruit Parfaits

The "Keepers" table!!!!

Each girl memorized a passage from the Bible that was as many verses as she was old.
Joshua and Lincoln also memorized chapters as well.

Joshua = Psalm 34:1-22
Lincoln = Psalm 25
Joyanna = Psalm 23
Elisabeth  = Psalm 15 and Psalm 16:1-2
Hope = Psalm 122
Lillia = Psalm 29
Faith = Hebrews 11:1-11
Anna = Proverbs 3
Emily = 1 Corinthians 13
Abigail = Psalm 27
Grace = Psalm 149 and Psalm 150
Kaitlyn = Psalm 19
Joanna = Romans 8:1-16
Zoe = Titus 3
After we each recited our vereses and recieved our certificates and badges we sang a few songs.

God Said It and I Believe It
Thy Word is a Lamp unto my Feet
I'm Gonna Hide God's Word Inside my Heart

I wish I had pictures before we decorated to show you how nice everything became.  We covered the blackboard with black sheets and draped sheer maroon fabric to hide the electric outlets at the top.  All the tables were covered in black material with a maroon runner.  Candles surronded by ivy were our centrepieces.  Did you notice the silver tray on the piano that says "God bless you"?  Aunt Rebekah used chalkboard paint on the middle of a tray she had found at a second hand store.  It really added a nice touch.  Flowers were placed on the front steps and near the program table.  The Keepers members served everyone their drinks and food and then we cleared the tables before we recited our verses.  The stars on the aprons represent how many years they have been a Keepers member.   Everyone did extremely well, even though many of us had sweaty hands and racing hearts!!!
Thanks to all who came and helped us celebrate!
