An Early Father's Day Celebration

Uncle Jon and Aunt Rebekah invited Uncle Steve, Aunt Jennifer, Patrick, Grandpa, Grammy, and our family to their house for lunch after church on Sunday. We had an early celebration for Father's Day, since Zoe, Abigail, Kaitlyn, Grandpa, & Grammy will be away next week.  I did not get any pictures of the food...but it was set up beautifully and was delicious!  We had a wonderful time!

Garden Goodies

We have been enjoying lettuce out of our garden for the past few weeks.  Tomorrow we are going to a family get together and we are bringing the salad.  Tonight I went out and cut four heads of Buttercrunch Lettuce. 

Also, this evening our neighbor, John, was across the road in his vegetable field.  He offered us ten quarts of strawberries, so Hope and Kaitlyn went down to his house and got them.  These strawberries were HUGE!  They are the biggest strawberries we have ever seen!

Starting a blog

Hello there!
   For a long time I (Kaitlyn) have wanted to start a blog for my family.  Yesterday, June 10th, my parents gave me the best birthday present, permission to start a blog!  Please be patient, I am new to the blogging world! The first "real" post will be coming soon!
