Tis' The Season

We always exchange little gifts with about 25 of our amish neighbors at Christmas time.
It is always fun to see what they bring to the house.
They have such creative ideas and beautiful cards!

This card was made by the owners of Shady Lane Impressions on Beaver Dam Road.
It is a really neat card making and craft store.
You should visit some time!

Homemade bread, jam, pies, seasoned pretzels and cheese, party mix, lots of cookies, a candle in a drinking jar with potpourri, apples, oranges, caramel popcorn, brownie mix in a jar, etc.
(Some items not pictured - they were eaten!)

For our gift we layered hot cocoa mixes in a jar with chocolate dipped spoons to stir.

Joy and Lillia rode their bikes 7 miles delivering the mixes.

  1. Good job on the spoons, too bad your helpers left before it was time to make them 😉

  2. You were so creativity with the spoons. I just thought they were going to be dipped in chocolate. Your neighbors are lucky and so is your family! A lovely tradition- Grandmommy
