Aunt Melissa taught us how to make a quilt. There are so many kinds of quilt patterns! There are lots of Bible name quilts. For example there is a David and Goliath quilt block pattern, Dove at the Window, Star of Bethlehem, Walls of Jericho, Job's Tears, Jacob's Ladder, Cross and Crown, Bright Morning Star, etc! We began with a nine patch square.

Then Melissa showed us how to slice our block down the middle and then across the middle.....
and turn it into a "Disappearing Nine Patch". So interesting!
