Fellowship Picnic

The Sunday before we left for Jasper Camp, we hosted a fellowship picnic for our church at the picnic grove where my graduation party was last year.  We had chosen this date a few months ago and then we found out there was going to be special meetings at our church that weekend.  It worked out perfectly to have the extra time to fellowship with our friends from out of town after the Sunday service.  Of course, in the rush to get everyone fed I didn't get a chance to take pictures of the buffet line, servers, food, etc.  Mom asked a few of the youth group girls to help serve everyone which helped the lines move along quickly.  Our menu was Sloppy Joe sandwiches, Caesar salad, potato salad, chips, pickles, and fruit.  Also big "thank you" to all the ladies who brought desserts for everyone to enjoy! 



The children enjoyed the playground with swings and slides while the young people enjoyed softball and volleyball.

 

The picnic grove is a perfect place to fellowship!

:: Southern Hospitality at its Best ::

This past weekend my family and I enjoyed wonderful fellowship and services at the BFT family camp.  We flew out on Thursday morning and arrived at the camp around three in the afternoon.  The weekend was packed with fun youth activities during the day and amazing services in the mornings and evenings.  The Holy Spirit was present and everyone received a blessing!  A big "THANK YOU!" to all the folks from Believer's Fellowship Tabernacle!  They work so hard during the duration of camp to make sure all those in attendance have a wonderful time!  I know lots of preparation and clean up work goes into the weekend to make it go so smoothly!  I have quite a few pictures from our trip so here they are :) enjoy!



During the morning service the children ages 3-12 go to children's church where volunteers sing and do crafts with them.





Hope and Gabriella's age group made wax paper and comb instruments during one Children's Church session.

Bro. Charlie got the young people together to sing two songs during the weekend.

 

 

 As always the young people enjoyed volleyball during the afternoons.

Saturday evening was the youth banquet for the young people ages 13-28.  The theme this year was "Western" so if you wanted, you could dress up in your boots and belt buckle!  It was neat to see all the cowboy getup everyone donned for the evening!

 

Even though the younger kids couldn't go to the banquet, they dressed western for the service in the evening:)
